I have a laptop that can only play old games. I have gotten some games but they require 32 bit. I have gotten warcraft and warcraft 2. I was able to play Gothic but Gothic 2 it had difficulty with. Gothic 3 it didn't play at all. I'm working on downloading Ultima collection. I hope it doesn't require 32 bit. I tried playing Dungeon Keeper Gold but it needed a 32 bit. I live in Kenya so buying games and having them shipped is not an option because of custom fees. I'm just a foreigner here bored to tears because I can't work and the work permit is too expensive plus it is too expensive to bring my wife to the U.S. What games would anyone recommend?

... what? I don't understand why you wouldn't be able to run 32-bit programs. 32-bit CPUs have been around since the 1980s and I don't think your laptop is that old. And current 64-bit CPUs can run most 32-bit software without any problems.
you got tons of games to chose from gog, I think you can play 90% of them with your pc (that can run gothic1)
baldurs gate, torment planescape, avadon series, eschalon book, hitman 1, 2 and 3, depends on what type of game you are looking for, but again gog games are not very pc demanding (at least most of them are not)
If you're looking to pass the time, check the strategy or rpg titles in the "Browse Games" drop down box. I would have thought that most strategy/simulations would be playable on your laptop and the RPG's mentioned by GastonArg ^ are pretty light on CPU's.

Once you've identified a few games that interest you, pop back on here and there will be plenty of GOG'ers that can help you choose.
Gothic 1 is running. So go and click on Browse Game and than you see release date...pre 1995 shoud be no problem, and
most of the games from 2001 and older too.
As you didn't tell us the specifics of your laptop check the system requirements, look into the games forum for known problems or just post a list of games with more details about your laptop.
Fantasy wars is brilliant, so is Eador genesis and disciples. And lords of the realm is a good game available here that is very very easy for a computer to run.

Brilliant old games not available here such as Civilisations2 , Galactic assault prisoner of power, ....

and that game that i can never ever remember the name no matter how many times i look at the disk and think "oh, simple"!
Some game where Earth soldiers fight on a planet called greenhaven. The preliminary story is that the Earth fleet was destroyed by a race held hostage by another race, but they did not destroy the slower Earth troop transports.

Fantasy Wars made me feel like shit. That game is really hard.

It can be hard if your pursuing the gold victories too often.

If you get a walk through off the internet, you can understand the rewards for missions. Gold victory rewards are often very minimal and have practically no relevant impact on the overall campaign.

a few other tips; in human campaign, scouts are the best unit, accompanied by at least two archers and about 3 haldbearers (excuse the spelling). swordsmen and catapults are useless because they are just too slow.

Experience - there are a few missions (i forget which ones) that do not have a very useful reward and they have no turn limit. Use these missions to get as much experience as your units will take! That means you have to try not to kill enemy units as much as possible (but you usually will have to at first to control the field of battle).
enemy hero units and air ships heal fully so if your careful, and patient, there is no limit to how much experience you can gain from them!
Can you post the output from your dxdiag? Just to understand what kind of PC we are talking about. By not being able to run 32bit, do you mean 32 bpp (bits-per-pixel) colors on the desktop? Because obviously you can run 32-bit Windows programs, like Gothic. But whether your graphics card can run 32bit (bpp) colors...?

Master of Orion 1 and 2 if you like strategy / 4X titles. Master of Magic, too.

Commandos for action-puzzler.

Arcanum or Baldur's Gate for RPG. Also Darklands? Fallout 1 and 2 when they make their triumphant return.

The Incredible Machine for Goldbergian fun.

Crusader: No Remorse for isometric action.

Descent for flight action, but make sure you're not susceptible to motion sickness. If you have a weak stomach try Wing Commander / Privateer. Maybe Independence War 1 for a more-complex space fighter. Magic Carpet.

I'm guessing Hammerwatch would work on your system for Gauntlet-like action.

Jagged Alliance for turn-based small-unit tactical combat.

Populous for god-game RTS.

Railroad Tycoon for a grand-daddy of the sandbox economic sim genre. Available for free if you dig around on the 'net.

GTA for free on the 'net.

Arena and Daggerfall games (predecessors to Morrowind and Oblivion) free on the 'net.

Holy crap - there really are a lot of fantastic DOS-based games.
I'd add the early Wing Commander games and Realms of the Haunting
There's loads to choose from, actually!
