It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Got home today to find a new program on the computer: Flash Player Pro. Called my dad, he said he updated flash today, but for all I know he may have confused flash with another program. Is this thing legit, or should I be worried?

Yes, and no. It's a legit program to play .swf files without using a browser, as to why you'd want one, no idea. At least that's what a quick google search finds, not sure about any adobe flash updates, need to restart to check for that.

Here's the website btw, just to see if this is truly what you have.

Yep, that's it.
EDIT: Isn't funny how we assume any free-ware or trial software nowadays is going to fuck our computers into oblivion?

Mind you, the latest version on the site comes bundled with an outdated version of the Flash ActiveX control that has known vulnerabilities, so in fact there is a chance of it indirectly "fucking your computer into oblivion". Unless it really has a unique feature you need, I'd get rid of it.
