Dzsono: Probably The Great Dictator.
This. A great film indeed.
The only black and white movie I have watched is To Kill a Mockingbird but it is a great movie :D

12 Angry Men
The original "Godzilla". :D
Charlie Chaplin - The Great Dictator
Yojimbo (1931)
The Seventh Seal (1957)
The Elephant Man (1980)
Dead Again (1991) - this one is actually both B&W and Technicolor.
The Artist (2011)

And I love rewatching most of the silent movies, not to mention a good number of classics by Lang, Chaplin, Hitchcock.

Licurg: Psycho, Hitchcock's "Birds" and Angels with Dirty Faces.
I'm pretty sure "The Birds" was in color.

It was, I just watched it, at it hadn't been "Turner-ized".

On that note I'd like to change my original answer.
Night of the Living Dead.
Hands down and without question the greatest horror film ever made and thus my favorite film ever be it black & white or color.

{shrug} I own it on DVD (I'm only missing a few Hitchcock movies in my collection - still haven't bought the Criterion releases of The Lady Vanishes or 39 Steps, they're always so darn expensive). It's definitely in color. I just checked IMDB, and it states that it was originally in color (Technicolor).

Where does the Wizard of Oz fit in here? It's both.
And what about Schindler's List? Does the one scene with the girl in the red coat count as being in color?

Then why do I remember it as a black-and-white movie ? :/

On-topic - Why the hell am I the only one to post a Cagney movie ? What the hell is wrong with you people ? :/
