Metal Slug Theme

Marzooker: I'm sorry if this question has already been asked, but what is your favorite video game song? Mine is the theme song from Age of Wonders 1.
Assuming "song" means "piece of music," my favorite would be "The Synapse" from Deus Ex: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9FZ-12a3dTI

"Nerevar Rising" aka the main theme from Morrowind is second.

A close third would be "A New Day Begins" from Republic: The Revolution: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fSRCTU-P_Ls

Way too many but at the moment, if I had to pick one, it would have to be the S.O.R. Super Mix from Streets of Rage 2:

I like Devil may Cry 4 intro song

This one: The NeverEnding Story (C64) would be one of my Fav, and this one
I really enjoy "A Pirate I Was Meant To Be" from Monkey Island 3
Gerudo Valley
I infinitely prefer this over the Zelda Main Theme. Maybe just because I love Ennio Morricone, and this sounds very similar to his work, which makes it really stand out from the rest of the OoT soundtrack.

Jack Orlando isn't much far from being the worst adventure game I ever have played, but nonetheless the soundtrack is just amazing. Too bad that it isn't bundled with the game here on GOG.com as it was in some retail versions. This one "Streets of Crime" is my favorite:

Any song from the original Donkey Kong Country on SNES. They put a lot of time and effort into the composition of those songs. Each has such a heavy atmospheric presence to it.
The Mirror's Edge Theme

AFnord: I've spent the last week or so humming Baba yetu, so I guess that would have to count for something.
This x100
Love this opening theme! :D
Promise from Silent Hill 2.
This.

Or if I'm in a "epic" mood this. Technically neither of them are songs, although the first one might qualify.
