Well I can only afford one of these games and I have a hard time choosing between them. I have read the reviews and they lest me none the wiser.
I looove 4x games and am probably one of the few that also loves Moo 3 apart from the bugs. I love micromanaging and research and taking my time so a fast paced RTS sometimes throw me off quite quickly. Which of these 2 games would you recommend and why?

I have both, and haven't gotten around to playing them yet, but based on your preferences, I'd say Endless Space. It's turn-based, whereas Stardrive is realtime with pause. Turn based would probably better suit your slow-paced style of play better.

Of course, they each have other pros and cons, but I haven't played them enough to comment further.
There is no such thing as endless space. That has nothing to do with this thread or gaming at all but I didn't want Stephen Hawking coming in here and having a cow.

well if the rts is slow enough or easy to pause like Paradox games (EU CK2 and the like) they suit me just fine whereas the warcraft doesn't as its to fast.

Edit: The fact that ES is ongoing does pull me towards that as replayability must be greater.

I'm serious - it is your money and so far you seem to be leaning in the direction of Endless Space - and well Zorder's review sold me and I don't even like these types of games - well except when Licurg insists ;-p

I'd say go for the whole package ;-)
Endless space it is then thnx I can hold out for that the whole weekend just in case an even better offer comes up;)

Worst part is none of them is on Tremor games so I can't pick them up there
