The only game I could think of with a snake boss and a fish boss was for the Amiga pc, but for its time it was an amazing pc system.

ok so I was going to post a youtube like but I cannot so i'm assuming because i'm really new to the website and this is only my second post but the game is called Apidya check it out on youtube!
Such an amazing side scroller for its time and the music was incredible.

apidya looks very familiar indeed, and when i googled "giant fish boss" it was the first result, but sadly, sadly thats not it :( aah this makes me sad, i thought i'd be able to find it
the last additional info i can give, since i dont remember anything else is that
i had to check "adventure island" and "wonder boy" to make sure the game wasnt it
so maybe it was similar in some way?

hmm, adventure island so it was a console game perhaps?

perhaps bonks adventure? i don't know the games well enough to know the bosses

He said he probably played it on an emulator.. it can be any 8/16-bit console...

There are many Wonderboy in Monsterland Games... Are you sure it's NONE of them ??


If so, have you considered The YS Saga for instance ??

Hmm, the description "giant snake getting smaller as a player destroys its segments" remings me of Dyna Blaster.

However the boss was a snake and there were some one block weird fishes as common enemies as far as I remember. So it probably isn't what you're looking for. :(

EDIT: Wow, a mystery is already solved. Great :).
