I think "Weird Science", since I always loved those comedy ones, though I´ve seen all of them but at that time I just completely and utterly disliked anything romantic.
Surprised no-ones said Pretty in Pink, not that its my favorite but maybe forth behind Ferris, Weird Science and Breakfast Club
I was actually reading a fan conspiracy theory that maybe Ferris is all in Cameron's head like in *spoilers* Fight Club - kind of makes sense, if you think about it...
Can't believe nobody has mentioned Sixteen Candles, absolutely love that movie, that's my favourite teen movie of all time, Farmer Ted is the best character in any John Hughes movie even better than Ferris, he's hilarious :)

One of the best intro montages ever too :)
This thread made me search a movie I watched long ago, that was the first romantic movie I actually liked?!....and it was from Hughes also "Some Kind of Wonderful".
Breakfast Club then FB's DO

He has had some great films - I am going with Breakfast Club and Dennis the Menace
Home Alone 3!

Just kidding, I love the first two Home Alone movies, Dennis the Menace, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, and National Lampoon's Christmas Vaction. Of course those are the only John Hughes movies I have seen that I thought were pretty good, Home Alone 3 and Flubber were just... ugh. :P

Yes, I have not seen The Breakfast Club, I am going to be rectifying that very soon.
Easily, by far - Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

They are all great. The Vacation series would probably be second, Home Alone 1 and 2 after those, but it still isn't even close. Ferris Bueller might crack my top 10 favorite movies of all time.
