Hey guys,
any idea to bring Deus Ex to GOG? Would love it!
Gog would have to make a deal with Square-Enix to get hold of that game. They currently don't have that kind of agreement with Square-Enix. No telling when or if it ever happens.

You simply will have to be patient. As will I, since I want that game on GOG...badly!

gog.com/en/wanted

Vote for it there until Gog gets off their butts and updates it to a new one and/or they get the game in question.

I've heard there's a lot to look forward to in the year 2525.

Fighting hard....to survive?
Come on GOG can't be that hard :)

You'd be surprised how hard GOG is...

But, on a more serious note, post in the Wishlist. That's your best bet to be heard - although that's not saying much anyway.
Entries to that list need to be moderated by GOG. I tend to prefer self-regulation in general, but seriously: What's with people not looking to see if a game is already listed before making a duplicate entry?

I agree that Deus Ex would be a welcome addition to GOG. I'd be smiling if GOG announced that the publisher signed recently is Square-Enix (Eidos): Deus Ex, Hitman, Legacy of Kain, Thief, Tomb Raider, etc.

Wait, how did Square-Enix get the rights to Deus Ex? Did they buy out Ion Storm's IP?
It's on everywhere except GoG, I don't get why.
Already got it from GG, would love seeing on GoG too.

Eidos Interactive merged with Square-Enix.

Developers rarely get a say in distro rights or own the copyright, especially with big name publishers.
I'm actually holding out on Steam in hopes it will be released on GOG... I remember playing this when it came out, was a great experience.
I'd never even heard of Deus Ex before. But it looks awesome and therefore GOG must have it.

...by any means necessary.
You better double check your systems, that mechanic was an imposter.

What did he work on?
