bansama: Be aware that Garry's Mod has been known to download additional Source game files when it decides it needs them. So if you see other source based games showing up as installed or as download paused, that's why.
I keep trying to play Garry's Mod, but every time I do, it downloads TF2 files, which uses up all that is left of my HD space - is there no way to stop it?

Surely you can get another hard drive? You can get 500GB for just over £30 here. If you don't want to install it (or can't because your mobo doesn't have a SATA port) then you can just add the cost of an enclosure on top of that for £5.

What do you mean 'enclosure'? I have a laptop if that means anything...

An enclosure is a device where you stick a hard drive inside, and you plug it in to your computer via USB or eSata.

If you have a laptop hard drive then that explains your problem with space...

Damn... I keep trying to play it, and it downloads TF2 files (at the time I have 7gb free), then, after it has loaded for a while, I get a windows message saying I have low disc space - it has filled thise 7gb! So annoying!

EDIT: While I am here, would Garry's Mod run on a Radeon 9250? And would Stranger's Wrath run on it too?

With 2gb of memory, not sure the CPU, I will check it later...

Yeah, I could do that - it is just irritating having to have an external hd plugged in all the time.

That s why I was asking if that computer would be able to play them - so I wouldn't have to use my laptop.
