The 210 was pretty pants. Probably any not-horrifically-outdated alternative you could name would be a better option than that.

I am looking at a second hand Galaxy GeForce 9600 GT with 1GB GDDR3.... how good is that one?

It's about 5 or 6 times better than the 210, that's for sure.
