What is it about GoG that made you fall in love with it? (or at least become interested in starting a relationship)

For me it's the stress release. I work Mon-Fri and I'm in the process of buying a house (which is VERY stressful all in it's own). I don't have money to go out too much or buy new games to get my mind off of things. GoG comes along (I know they came around a few years ago but I'm particularly thankful for them right now) and offers $5 - $10 games that I've mostly never played (cause my parents didn't allow for games on the computer when I was little) AND offers them completely DRM-Free AND offers tons of awesome extras.

GoG has truly stolen my heart. I love you GoG (and all the people who make it possible). Thank you for being so awesome in every way!

So how about everyone else? Any particular reason you love GoG or are thankful to have GoG in your life?
What drew me here was the DRM-free angle, as well as the fact they were picking up old games that I'd either missed/overlooked or no longer had the discs for and couldn't find at a decent price (the BG and IWD series fall into the latter category).

What keeps me here is the fact that the community is still great, and the games just keep coming.
It's funny how every time they release a game to their catalogue it it feels like it's a whole new game, even though it's just a re-release of an old one. (Well until Witcher 2 comes out!)

Always something new to play!
What got me to like GOG was sales...I love sales. And I love that they have one every Wednesday and Friday. I always race onto my computer on those days and check here and Steam...

And then when really made me love it was the community in the forums. Everyone is so nice, I felt really welcomed, got two free games from an awesome person, and I just love the people here!
Well GOG was something missing on the market, so I was eager to join. CDP's best attitude towards customers ever doesn't hurt either.
When I first came here, it was just for straight up buying games since it has lot of stuff that I wanna play as a child but didn't have chance to.

It wasn't until that infamous shutdown of website when I begin to be more active in forum, which has one of the best communities I have ever seen online.

Also, the sweet sales doesn't hurt, either. I regard this website as my online home. :D
The DRM-free angle is what initially piqued my interest.

The low prices and the fact that the games (almost always) work on Windows 7 is what keeps me coming back.
The memories! Just seeing the titles again brings back nostalgia. I was little and I repeatedly failed at them or my father (a pastor) thought that it was demonic and banned them.

Also, I really appreciate the morality and honesty that GoG seems to follow. That is why I joined. I stay because of the great and generous community. Gift me!;)
Because buying computer games is a hassle, except on GOG.

^My God, yes. I don't know how much dissappointment I've experienced when something fails between point A and B and I am out my money and fun.
Because it has a lot of old games that I simply can't get anywhere else. Where in the world can you go to buy Blood, Blake Stone and Rise of the Triad these days? Nowhere!
