Your neighborhood has a resident that is constantly getting drunk and making all kinds of poor decisions.
He has a long track record of things like knocking over mailboxes and driving over gardens.
Every now and then he regrets the damage he did and instead of addressing the incident and his behavior he gives everyone in the neighborhood a banana from his shop.

If you're busy with you're busy with your own life and know nothing else of this guy other than he gave you a free banana, then you're gonna have a better view of him than the guy who gets to fix his yard with a free banana.

It's a poor analogy, I know, but it's got a lot of parallels to EA's behavior.

It's comprised of corporate types who don't give a shit about the gaming industry.

I never wondered about that actually. It's pretty simple, if you cook 10 hot dogs then you have to buy two bags of rolls. All about the money.
And any baker that tries to put 10 buns in a bag suddenly disappears. It's the baker's code.

It's just clear that EA is out of touch with PC Gamers. I wonder if they have anyone who makes decision for that company actually talk to gamers?
