Heavy DRM? Because you can lend, sell and buy PC games at the second hand market, right?

PC gamers like myself are vocal about how crap consoles are because they are a threat.

1) We loose game developing talent and resources to consoles.

2)We loose shelf space in the shops to consoles (but at least we have places like GOG)

3) In some cases our games are dummed down to accommodate consoles - that will increase into the future.

4) Were bitter about PC game DRM preventing us from being able to adequately mock those attributes in consoles (i know i am)

5) We see all the great games developed for consoles that we cannot play, or if we do, we have to tolerate that the games full potential has been lost in order to run well on consoles.

Plus for all the other reasons i forgot to mention.... We really hate consoles.

Yeah I pretty much agree with this.

Magmarock: I think what he means is that its' hard to maintain respect for console gamers because of how they react to the smallest or most justified criticism. Consoles gamers defend companies religiously instead of defending themselves against said companies that treat them like crap and when you try to bring this to their attention. Well threads like this happen.

I gotta be honest with you, I do regret making this thread, its' wasted everyone time mine included. I got away with ranting about how steam got worse over time and I thought I could get away by doing it to consoles as well. I was wrong.

A lot of them simply justify the situation instead of pressuring the powers that be to make things better.
A few of my posts have gotten low rated. I don't know who's doing it but it makes me pretty upset. It doesn't matter that I got Painkillers Vsync patched or Shadow Warrior's Zilla Sword DLC re instated. What matters is that I don't like consoles :/


I keep coming back here because I keep seeing comments that I want to reply to.

Hi everyone!

Looking through this topic (per OP's request) I see that it is quite flame-genic. The OP feels starting this topic was a mistake, and that it should be closed down. This kind of decision is not mine or the OP's to make, however, in my opinion, as many people had invested time (and emotions) in the discussion. That's why I would ask you if you have anything against closing this thread.

If no one opposes in 24 hours from now, I will close it.
