It was my favorite of the series, and it's a pretty old game. I would love to buy the GoG version if it ever becomes available.

I don't know that either. Maybe these games are hard to make them run on modern systems? But I think people don't have troubles running Settlers 3 and 4 on modern machines.

I have them on disc, and they are one of the best games ever. I'd love to see them on GOG too...
