Since it's freezing cold on the Northern Hemisphere, and while I don't know for certain, I suppose it's hot on the Southern, I've decided to have a giveaway featuring trading games* which may, due to their setting, (at lease psychologically) counter the weather outside.
The games to be given away are two Patrician and two Port Royale games. The former will be given out to two people from the Southern Hemisphere, and the latter to two from the Northern.

To enter, just specify if you'd like Port Royale 1 or 2 (if you're from the North), or the Patrician 1+2 pack or Patrician 3 (if you're from the South). Some time tomorrow (probably around 16:00 CET), I'll randomly choose 2-2 winners and PM them their codes.

If you're not familiar with these series, here's a little help deciding which game to choose: of the Port Royale games, the second one is more simplified and thus also easier, so I think that's the better one if you're completely new to trading sims. PR1, on the other hand, is somewhat more complex and also a bit more difficult to truly master, but that's not to say "newbies" can't play it (basically, you just have to keep track of more things). Regarding the Patrician games, Patrician 2 and 3 are almost completely the same, the latter being somewhat more polished. Patrician 1 is, however, completely different. Therefore, if you've never played a Patrician game, or only the first one, I suggest picking P3, but if you've played Patrician 2/3, I advise choosing the 1+2 pack.

*I give away trading games because that's one of my favorite genres :-).
Hi!

Interesting giveaway.

Yeah, there is pretty cold in Hungary (at the moment -12°C).
I used to play PR 1 when it came out, but i'd rather choose PR2 because im not a trading game expert.

Port 1 for me.
It's not so cold here right now, 7ºC.
I'd like to try for patrician 1+2, thanks. Was very hot earlier today, but it's cooled down some now.

If someone is from the middle, what then. :<

I'm somewhat from the North, so Port Royale! Thanks for the giveaway, Sir.

I'm a northerner, and would love to give Port Royale 2 a try.

It is by the way quite cold here in Sweden right now.
-8 °C, but that's directly behind a window of a well-heated room, so I suppose it's worse in the streets. Yesterday morning, we had minus 17.
I'd like to try for Port Royale 2, thank you. :-)
I went for a walk yesterday and almost froze my nose off. My whole face was covered in ice from my breath. I was quite sure I caught a cold - but that was only until I saw the screenshots of Tropico 2. Ahhhh... the soothing warmth of crystal clear sea under the hot midday sun. The sand is so hot you might think it has changed into white from yellow. Walking on this owen might be a little unpleasant so I just lie down in the soothing shade of a palm tree. This immediately made me feel better. Could you spare some more medicine for me?
Canada's pretty darn north, yeah? I'd go for Port Royale 2, and thank you for the giveaway.
It doesn't feel very cold here to me, but it is raining and chilly.

I'm not going to enter even though I think Port Royale looks great. Thank you for the giveaway Drlstvaan :)
It's been much colder here in Ireland these past weeks

I always wanted to give the Port Royale games a try so I'll enter for the first PR game :)

Thanks!
Yeah, been having record-breakers, poor Suwałki got a -30 at one point.

I'm in for Port Royale 2. Thanks!
Port Royale 2 would be excellent, thank you.

Could you also make the weather bearable while you're at it? -16 °C is kinda crampin' my style. Cheers.
I'll vote for Port Royale 2, please.

Many thanks
