Well, if it's alive at all, it must be some kind of jellyfish. I don't see what else it could be.

Did a little research about what other people think it is and the ones (probably) more educated in the field say it may be a whale's placenta or more probably Deepstaria Enigmatica a really big blob of a jellyfish.
Other people claim that it may be Stypgiomedusa gigantea.
Amazing that there are still such mysteries in the sea :)
