With Sonic Adventure finally coming to the arcade, you'd think the Director's Cut would be bundled in with it, right? Yes and no. You CAN play DX, but you have to pay an extra $5. That seems like a sham.
EDIT: Also, remember that golden age where we all thought the newer Sonic games were junk compared to Sonic Adventure? I think we've been punked, because they've actually been improving. Maybe I need to practice a little more, but the game is very broken, which I don't remember at all.

i read about that, its pretty disgraceful
Well they aren't exactly cheating. For the price listed you do get Sonic Adventure as it was on the Dreamcast. The extra $5 is for the Gamecube and PC improvements in the DX version. It's not cheating but it is certainly very cheeky.

I suppose so. At least it isn't a 108 kb download, which would tell you they just locked a part of the game out.
Yeah, the other way to look at it is they're giving you the option to save $5 if the DX content isn't worth it for you. Probably better not to give the option though and just set the higher price and probably everyone would be okay with it. That's a little strange.

it is however, not an amazing port, i tried the trial, and at one point, fell through the stage, reloaded, happened again, i had this on the DC and the GC and dont remember it happening on either
