Just want to know if there would be any chance that GoG.com and XFire would team up so that my GoG games could be detected and run with XFire? It's no fun playing alone.

I have a partial list of games that are fully supported, as well as fixes to give either full or partial support (the latter basically meaning "no community features such as 'uploading screenshots' and 'your buddies knowing what game you play'") to others.

"Partial" because I haven't updated it since January 14, and hadn't added all games back then either. I can take it up again if the community shows more interest in it (and I accept help).

List/thread can be found here.

EDIT: lease note that since I haven't updated the file for a while, some of it may very well be redundant by now if the Xfire team has added support for games in group 4 or for the GOG versions in group 2 and 3.

EDIT2: Yes, I'm well aware that this is not exactly what you were asking for, but it's related and is about as well as the community can do by itself. Another way is to create threads in Xfire's "New Game Ideas" forum for all games that are not completely supported yet - though the rules there make it extremely cumbersome (one single game per thread, and no duplicate threads). I have most of the data needed (in the ini file linked in the OP) to create decent requests, but I don't have the time to go through all the unsupported GOGs and do type up posts for them. Not to mention that I'm quite sure the interest for those games on the Xfire forums is pretty much non-existing, thus decreasing the chance that the team will take notice of it, much less adding support for the game(s).
