I was at work so I decided to compose the following poem (by paraphrasing a well known one - I'm not that good ;) ) in honour of Xyem's continued weekly Santa-status:
And since this draw is scheduled for Xmas-Eve-eve...

Twas the night before the night before Christmas, when all through the forum,
Not a poster was suffering, there was no more boredom.
The messages flooded the thread one by one,
In hopes that random.org would say they had won.

The fanboys and trolls were all snug 'fore their PCs
With visions of rtss and rpgs
Some in their PJs and some in their nethers (brain bleach available on aisle 5)
Had just turned up the heat against seasonal weathers

When out in the internets there arose such a clatter
They all clicked on the rss feed to see what was the matter
Away to the home page, for which they needed Flash
They browsed through the catalogue and counted their cash.

The sale tags all said '50% off'
The pedants noted the half-cent and gave a little cough,
When what to their wondering eyes should appear
But a new giveaway thread offering more cheer.

The kitten in the OP's avatar stared at them
They knew in a moment it must be Xyem.
"Better than ICanHazCheezburger" the praises they came
and into the thread the posters they came:

Now Telnet, now PeanutBrittle, now darknath, now tomhrxbfg
In Primate, in Psyringe, in MoP, in Falci...xbfg (ok, you try rhyming that one)
To the top of the next page they kept on in thrall
now post all you regulars and lurkers and all

As gaming moths to the keyboard fly,
When they meet with a contest, all have to try.
So into the thread, those posters they flew,
With potential for playing and gaming anew.

And then in a twinkling they heard on the grapevine,
The slowly approaching GMT dateline.
As they looked back in the thread and were browsing around,
In Xyem came with a fistful of pounds (converted to dollars at the appropriate rate, minus the transaction fee)

He was dressed all in faux-fur, unlike his cat,
But none of the posters could see any of that. (except those signed up to Xyem-livecam.com)
A random result he held in his hand,
to report in the thread and make one poster's day grand.

His eyes, how they twinkled, his dimples how merry (not THOSE dimples...look higher, that's it)
He thought of some brandy or maybe a sherry.
He said "maybe later, I've a contest to end"
And opened a 'new post' the thread to append.

The stroke of each key, the electronics beneath,
And the bits down the wire and soon we could breathe.
He had a broadband and a wireless connection,
That meant no delays in the proper direction.

He was jolly and kind, a right happy old forumite,
And we gave +1 to his post as that was just right.
A flick of his mouse and a turn of his head
Soon gave us to know who had won in the thread.

He spoke not a word as there was no voice-recogntion,
But he finished his post with a sense of conviction.
And laying his arrow across the 'submit'
He readied his finger and left-button hit.

The post it appeared and the lucky one whistled,
The others thought "next time" and nobody bristled.
For such was the spirit of community bright.
Merry Christmas to all and to Xyem: Well done sir, that's really cool of you, cheers, whoohoo, etc., g'night.
thx xyem

Yoink!
There was a young girl from Rabat,
who had triplets, Nat, Pat and Tat;
It was fun in the breeding,
But hell in the feeding,
When she found she had no tit for Tat.
Let's try this one more time
