With an average of 157 entrants per draw (2011), 20,000 entries is projected to happen in the 2013-04-12 draw :P

What is the time limit on claiming my winnings?
There isn't one (at least, none that I impose). Again, couldn't think of any reason to require it, so there isn't any requirement.

So yes, you can wait for a different sale. Quite a few people saved their winnings from 2011 and used them during the Christmas sale.
