SimonG: Erm, How could you not have noticed the BIG RED LETTERS topping of the game description. And it is mention in the minimum specs directly next to the buy button.

Yeah, sorry. That one is on you.
To be fair, the layout on that page is absolutely horrible. It looks like some fanboy's blog, not a professional distributor. The way they highlight "win an original..." in the red text leads you to believe that the red blurb is all related to some useless promotional offer. Maybe that was their intention - to hide the fact that Steam is needed as best they can.

But yah, as you say, no refund entitlement there.

Few people outside this forum feel the need for that. In fact, probably for the bulk of their potential buyer base, it's a pro.

Ignoring that, the absolute first line starts with explaining you'll be given a Steam key, I don't see what's hard to miss or hidden there unless you're somehow prone to just reading bolded text.

TVs_Frank: You know what I don't hate?

I don't hate vests.
Is that you, Francis?

SirPrimalform: You can back up your GOG installer, Steam is the only way to install games on Steam. Plus other stores don't sell games in the form of GOG codes (yet), so that's a bit of a rubbish comparison.

keeveek: You can buy GOG games only on GOG? What kind of SICK drm is that?! :D

Steam games don't need installers, if you didn't know that yet.
That's exactly the point I'm trying to make.

Anyway, ne_zavarj's point was perfectly valid and your reply made no sense.
Say what you want. Steam DOES sell drm-free games, and it's a fact you can't deny, sorry.
