I just realized I barely avoided hitting the 300 game threshold on the sales. Nice save, me.
35, not as bad as I thought =)

Gabriel Knight 1-2-3
Phantasmagoria 1-2
Freespace 1-2
Wallace & Gromit
Humble Indie Bundle 7

Been pretty well behaved with my pennies this year :D

I'd rather not total that lot up! But my new years resolution is to play/complete a lot more games from my backlog before I buy more X)

...yeah, that'll never last!

XIII (because it was going to be removed)
Syberia 2
Still Life 2
Spycraft: The Great Game
Dangerous Dave Pack
Phantasmagoria 2
Phantasmagoria
Blood 2: The Chosen + Expansion
Blood (One Unit Whole Blood)
Painkiller Black Edition
POSTAL: Classic and Uncut
Vampire The Masquerade - Redemption
Shadow Warrior Complete
Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness
Duke Nukem 1+2

Yeah that is all I have bought from GOG
Going in to this sale season, my GOG shelf pretty much had some Ultima titles (I'm a huge fan of UW1), Tales of Monkey Island and whatever free titles GOG has.

Then this sale season came along. I picked up:

Duke Nukem 3D (free!)
Legend of Grimrock
A few Telltale pick-n-mixes:
Sam & Max Beyond Time and Space
Sam & Max Save the World
Sam & Max The Devil's Playhouse
Wallace and Grommit's Grand Adventures

Finished up my Ultima Collection (since at the bundle price these were practially free) with:
Ultima 1-2-3
Ultima 4-5-6

The D&D Bundle:
Forgotten Realms: Demon Stone
Baldur's Gate I
Baldur's Gate II
Neverwinter Nights Diamond
Torment
Icewind Dale I
IceWind Dale II
Temple of Elemental Evil
D&D Dragonshard

The Witcher Enhanced Edition

Belated Halloween Bundle (?):
Gabriel Knight 1, 2, and 3
Phantasmagoria 1 and 2

Alone in the Dark 1-2-3
Stonekeep
Arx Fatalis

I think this all totaled up to around $70. Unbelievable.

The only bad thing about this is that I'll probably never finish many of these games.
I bought everything I didn't yet have but three games.
Money spent: $50 (counting "gift" exchanges), plus ~$170 worth of pure gifts.
(I am still unemployed.)
I hate everyone.
The Real Texas: $3.74
Blood Omen 2: $2.99
Carmageddon Max Pack: $2.49
Wing Commander 1+2 & Privateer: Traded for them

As for Steam, I only bought some upgrades for stuff. I don't think I've spent more than $10 there. Amazon, on the other hand...
lessee I got
Journeyman Project 2
Journeyman Project 3
Bioforge
Anachronox
Duke 3D (free)
Space Colony HD (got that with my caption contest winnings)
Seven Kingdoms 2
Uplink
Spycraft
Chronicles of Riddick
Thief 1
Thief 2
Thief 3
Deus Ex 1
Deus Ex 2
Battle Chess
Tales of Monkey Island
Sam and Max Season 1
Sam and Max Season 2
Sam and Max Season 3

Between GOG and Steam I ended up spending around $250. It would have been around $300 but my mouse died and I had to get a new one (still waiting for it, hooray for windows accessibility options, keypad mouse controls and adventure games that don't mind if your cursor moves like it's being controlled by an etch-a-sketch!)

I was thinking of starting a thread like this...maybe just not as detailed. ;-)

I finished off my Sierra (I refuse to say Activision) Quest series collection. I didn't want a couple of them, but it ended up being cheaper to just buy them all at 75% off rather than just the ones I wanted at 50% off. I played nearly all of the Quest games as they came out in my teenage years & loved them. They were the first of their kind.

Also bought a GOG to trade for a GOG. I got GeneForge 1-5 out of the deal. Started GF1 and I have to say I am thrilled with the game! The different tribes remind me very much of the Fallout games, just under different circumstances & in a different setting (and that's a non-spoiler, because you learn about them almost immediately). Even the gameplay reminds me of Fallout 1&2 in some ways, and that is a HUGE compliment as I love FO1&2. I'm maybe about 5% into GF1 right now, and I already love it.
Jumpin' Indie Action Bundle, of which I had Mutant Mudds already.
XIII after the warnings of its impending demise
Shadow Warrior in a trade

and that was all from GOG for me this sale
For giveaways:

Bullfrog Bundle - $11.92
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell - $4.99
Legend of Grimrock - $3.74
King of Dragon Pass - $2.99
Inquisitor - $3.74
Nox - $2.99
Pharaoh + Cleopatra - $4.99

Total: $35.36

For myself:

King of Dragon Pass - $2.99

Grand Total: $38.35

Roman5: Share with other people in this thread which purchases you have made during this Holiday sale

Provide information regarding

Which games you purchased
How much you spent in total
How much money went to each publisher
Does that really matter???

Quick and easy for me - 2 copies of Neverwinter Nights (one for me, purely to avoid having to reinstall from umpteen CDs, and one for a mate) and King Of Dragon Pass.
Duke Nukem 1+2
Shadow Warrior
Street Fighter Alpha 2
Roller Coaster Tycoon Deluxe Edition
Theme Hospital
The Last Express
and XII before it was removed from the catalog
23.92 dollars with out including my steam, dotemu and humble indle bunble purchases.
I was thinking to buy Hotline Miami, Retrocity Rampage and Carmageddon also here on GOG, but I'll wait until the next sale.
