I have purchased all the GOG games I want for now; every now and then I take another look over the catalogue to see if there's anything new I might like though. I'm waiting for baldur's Gate 2 and Neverwinter nights; if they reach GOG I shall purchase them immediately.
1. Gabriel Knight games--I love adventure games, but especially horror adventure games (see my avatar), so it's kind of a travesty that I haven't played these.
2. Waxworks--see above . . . love horror games, and the different time periods in this one intrigue me. I'm a child of the 80s and played computer games as early as kindergarten, so not only do primitive graphics not really bother me, but they even have a bit of a nostalgic aura.
3. Dark Fall 2--I'm almost finished with the first one, and I'm interested in playing some of Jonathan Boakes' later games. The first one isn't perfect, but I've heard his games improved as he got more experience (culminating in the Lost Crown, which adventure gamers everywhere seem to worship).
4. Planescape Torment--I don't normally play RPGs, but I do enjoy them if they have a good story and writing, like Betrayal at Krondor. This one certainly sounds like it fits the bill.
5. I'm torn about what to put in this spot . . . not sure if I should put Personal Nightmare or Phantasmagoria . . . so I'll leave it blank.
!) Psychonauts - Played it on XBOX, got stuck at Meat Circus, and I don't remember why I gave up. Great game, would like to buy it again and finish it.

2) The Longest Journey - I've heard such great things about it, would finally like to see what all the fuss is about.

3) Kings Bounty: The Legend - I've heard the (un)intentional humor is a high point. Plus, I'm a sucker for good turn-based combat.

4) Beyond Good & Evil - Who can resist those green lips?

5) Painkiller Black Edition - Everybody needs a great mindless shooter.

I would hazard a guess it's because that level is ridiculously difficult. I've actually been able to do it fairly quickly on my second or third playthrough, but the first time was abhorrently frustrating.

I never bought psychonauts on GOG because it came out on steam first (or at least I saw it there first).

True, but not the only reason, methinks. Probably bought some stupid shooter and just forgot to go back and/or loaned it to someone. Psychonauts is still the most unique game I've ever played. I just hope we see Costume Quest on PC soon.
1-3. King's Quest series
4-5. Space Quest series

Been planning to buy these since last month, but Spiderweb Software has a great sale this month I couldn't pass up. So I had to put these off until another day.

4. Unreal Tournament 2004
5. XIII
1. XIII
I first saw a trailer for this in the Xbox version of the first Splinter Cell game. I thought it was dumb at first, but after a while I started to really want the game. The style intrigued me. When the game showed up on GOG, I immediately wanted it.

2. Sniper Elite: Berlin 1945
I had considered getting this on Steam a while back, but for some reason I never got around to it. When I saw that it was on GOG, I really wanted it. The whole sniper thing really intrigues me, even if I'm not that great of a sniper in games.

3. Soldiers: Heroes of World War II
Despite stinking at strategy games, and despite the fact that I often have a hard time playing one for an extended period of time, the genre has intrigued for a few years. This game caught my attention for two reasons: (1) it is a World War II game, and (2) there is no base-building.

4. All the Alone in the Dark games
I have always wanted an old horror game of this style, and this series seems like the logical choice.

5. Sanitarium
Though I know little about this game, the whole concept just intrigues me, and the more I hear about it, the more I want it.
1. Star Control 1 + 2
2. Battle Isle Platinum
3. The Longest Journey
4. Betrayal at Krondor Pack
5. Baldur's Gate 2
1. Might & Magic 7
2. Might & Magic 8
3. Battle Isle Platinum
4. Syberia
5. Tropico

(Notable mention: The Incredible Machine and Commandos)
