I'm having the same problem for some days too, cant even reinstall the app trough the normal method cause i cant connect to GOG.com for some weird reason.
I'm having a similar issue.

Now it's progressed to the point where it launches, tries to update, and fails. It's been doing this for the last several months.

Now when I try to relaunch, I get no response from GOG Galaxy at all. Task manager shows it running, but nothing.

I guess it's good that I can still launch games manually, but that's a pain.
Similar issue here. When I launch the app it takes me to the login dialog, even though I was already logged in before.
When I try to enter my password it just show a spinning wheel for a few seconds, then shows the login again, without any error message.
In the end it did manage to log in, after a few reties. Still, quite annoying. Logging in on the website works fine.
Have the same problem. Galaxy seems to have received an update (2.0.46 Beta) and now I can't connect. BUT.... if I turn off my Kaspersky Internet Security (and I don't mean turn off like stand by, deactivate or something!) If shut it down completely, Galaxy connects, but only if I shut down KIS. Great work, GOG.... :/

Hello everyone. Hope you are alright.

YES, Kaspersky may mess around sometimes.

[Annotate every configuration you have prior disabling them.]

- Open Kaspersky Total Security, click the gear at bottom-left, Network settings

Mimic picture A

Save and test logging in.

This should suffice and either
- Get your configs back
- mimic picture B
- choose the security level you want.

The problem here is that Kaspersky, in order to sniff every encrypted traffic, needs to be a proxy so, every connection pass through it and only then it gets delivered either to your application or to some remote location (you may check that browsing google for instance and checking "google" certificate (green/gray lock to the left of the web address. You will see that Issued by will be "Kaspersky Anti-Virus Personal Root Certificate" instead of a usual one)

Sometimes this gets messed and one end of the connection refuses this behavior and pops up some Kaspersky message telling so and that's why it is important to choose "ASK" when something like this happens. When it happens with *.gog.com, just add it as an exclusion and you're good to go.

Hope that helps, took me several hours to debug it and solve it.

Cheers!!
