Hello,
Today I installed GOG Galaxy client from the website. Although it doesn't say that it's version 2.0. I believe it is as highlighting on the version details displays as Product version 2.0.55.99.
Anyway, upon launching this client, it will trigger a warning on the Known Folders of the Event Viewer.
Please see attached screenshot for more details.
I get this "Error 0x80070002 occurred while verifying known folder {fdd39ad0-238f-46af-adb4-6c85480369c7} with path 'C:\Windows\system32\config\systemprofile\Documents'."
This is happening only with the GOG Galaxy client. If I launch Steam or Origin this doesn't happen.
Also if I exit the application while the client windows is on display then I get Windows Error Reporting Service to trigger but it doesn't show any errors on the Event Viewer or on the Reliability History.
However, if I minimize the client and then right click from the Show Hidden Icons and then right click on the client and exit it then there are no error triggers.
Nevertheless, back to my original issue, I do not know why launching the client triggers this warning. Nothing else would trigger this. I restarted my PC following the installation to see if it was going to be resolved, but it did not.
Anyone experiences the same issue/ and or knows how to fix this?
