After being angry at Galaxy 2.0 and hardly want to play any Games on GOG anymore, I finally installed 1.2 again today. How can 2.0 after all the time still be so slow? Updates won't work correctly, it loses the connection to the plugins all the time, the cpu usage is always high as f**k etc. What's going wrong here? Shit has more Bugs than Cyberpunk.

The worst thing about galaxy isn't it's lack of features, it is the fact that they seem to constantly break something with every single release. Case in point the last update they did an update, they broke background data so newly purchased games don't show up, in the recent additions to your library or in your library & tags don't take effect until you completely restart Galaxy.

Things like that make the bug where it takes a stupidly long time to populate the data for products you own in a large library even more tedious.

Simply put I'm all for them adding new features, Galaxy developers go nuts.... but make sure the standard released version has it's bugs fixed and regression tested! If you want to have a branch with new features do it on a development branch

Most users just want something stable, we aren't your QA testers, nor did we sign up for it. If you want to make builds with new features available for test for volunteers, I have no problem with it. The overwelming majority of users just want something which works hassle free with minimal bugs not new bugs to discover every time there is an update!

I'm so sick of things being broken with every release of Galaxy I'm getting to the point where I might well just un-install it.

I have also given up on Galaxy. I tried to use it as my primary launcher, but it breaks so often that it is not worth the hassle anymore. I had custom artwork for a lot of my games awhile back, and an update completely broke all of that, so all that work gone. I will just use it for GOG games only, no more integrations, no more customization.

I actually liked GOG Galaxy. It was okay. And the integrations actually worked. But then it started to refuse to work.
It actually does work for a few seconds after login just fine - and then it insists on shutting down with a "can't connect to connection service" error.

I ignored this for some months and now invested two hours searching for a fix. There still seems to be none! I uninstalled GOG Galaxy and will likely never come back.

@GOG: Stability is more important than new features and not everyone has to develop his own launcher.

I think the Highlights & News should be combined into 1 thing on Galaxy

I think GOG Galaxy needs a Controller Config Menu Like they have on Steam & X-Box One
Handle it differently then Steam handles theirs

I think Games For You & Good Old Games Should Be Combined Into 1 on Galaxy
I think Explore Games should be put at the end of this, & remove the Explore Games line

I think the Store should be moved to GOG.com only, but that is just me
It might Free up a lot more studdering & a lot more RAM Usage in Galaxy

I think it would be great to have an Achievement Stat Screen on Galaxy
I think it would be great to have an Extensive Profile Screen on Galaxy
I think Galaxy would be nice to have a Color Wheel or Custom Themes

I think GOG Galaxy Overlay is too bare bones, it could use a music player or something to improve it?

GOG Galaxy would be nice to have a meeting place to search & find people to chat with

I just want the old basic library list of all my games and access to a games forum within the client. why is this so hard.
