We have killed Malavon in IWD as the mini-boss.
In IWD2 we meet again Malavon as a newbie sorcer and his sister Ginafae as a Drider

I thought IWD2 connected with the first part and goes shortly after.

How is it possible?


p.s. IWD1: HoW addon goes after IWD1 OC, where those sealing Cleric mentioned as a Hero.
In IWD2 in the Prologue i found the book, that tells about that HoW adventure.

Oswald before the flight to Kuldahar saying, that Iselore is arhdruid of Kuldahar, who replaced Arundel 30 years ago, when "other things happened" (IWD1 OC)

Hence IWD2 follows IWD1 OC after 30 years. Then how these drows able to appear again, if one of them 100% was killed 30 years ago?

Is Malavon the wizard you can kill like in chapter 5? I believe he has a Golem.

If that's the case, when he shows up in IWD2 you can actually tell him about how you thought he was dead and he'll explain about it. It is pretty far fetched, but it does explain it in case the PC killed him.
