A small thing, and I know I can just watch the video from the .bik file in the game folder, but it still bugs me.

Can you see the starting vids?

Some vista and win 7 users have reported problems getting video files to play. Some have even had to remove the bik files from their folder in the game directory in order to get the game to run. To my knowledge there's no fix for it but if you ask around the Bioware forums someone else may be able to offer you some more useful info. I use Vista but the vids run fine for me.

The videos play fine. I'm talking about the ones that are grayed-out in the 'Movies' menu because the player hasn't viewed them during the course of the game. The epilogue video wasn't unlocked after beating the game and viewing the video afterwards.
Wow. It's been a LONG time since I saw a problem I never heard of before. I'm afraid this is one of them. Once the mod was beaten the game should have flagged the video as unlocked. Have you tried replaying the last boss from the previous save and seeing if beating it a second time unlocks it?

No, but beating the boss isn't where the video plays. It's right after you walk into the portal behind Haedraline in the Astral Pocket.
Hey... If you saved AFTER beating the boss great. What matters is does it the video play if you reload from a previous save. Check the filename of the bik file, make sure you didn't accidentally change it when you were watching them. If not, and if you really care enough to bother, I'd try a reinstall and then load from save. If it still doesn't work... well... I just don't know. Like I said. I've never seen this one before.
What is the codeword in your nwnplayer.ini under "[Game Options]"?
If it is not hacktastic like so: "CODEWORD=hacktastic", this might be the problem.

This setting allows every module in the main campaign to be playable, and I think it might allow the movies to be playable.

See here for more information about the nwnplayer.ini file.
