I am hoping somebody here can help me out with a question. How do I select a "sub race"?

I found this link here that gives a bunch of cool options

When I try to copy and paste any of them into the "sub race" field in the character generation mode I see no discernable difference?

Does the Diamond Edition support any thing like this?

I am quite familiar with 3.0/3/5 and would love to be able to to have a wider selection of races to pick from. Am I just out of luck here or is there some way I can get access to drow, tieflings, Water-genasi, Elf-Wood etc.?

The default game does not support subraces. You can put it in the subrace field and you can make your character appearance as close to the subrace as possible, but it has no effect in-game.

That being said, if you're not opposed to modding the game, you may be interested in the , which adds tons of new feats, classes, spells, skills, races, and subraces to the game. Check out the on-line manual [url=http://www.nwnprc.com/manual/index.html]Here to get an idea of what's added with this mod (links on the left of that page).

A word of caution: if you're planning on playing a bunch of community modules, be warned that the PRC may not play nice with some of them. It will likely not be an issue, but it can occur.

Thanks a lot Coelocanth. That helped me out a lot. I was finally able to download everythig and get it up and running. It was EXACTLY what I was looking for!!
