Which mods lets you have more choices when customizing your character and which of the ones if any are best?
This is for NVN1 and 2 just remember to write which is for which please;=)

Are you looking for more races, feats, skills, etc? If so, look for the PRC for NWN1.

For NWN2, try Kaedrin's PRC pack.

Nah just more body, face, tattoo and clothes options on the customizations page for the existing races

thx what category though is it textures or character I have the same issue with the of the mod site its quite hard for a noob to figure what is what ;)
I put the Xaltars in the texturepacks folder was that correct. There's not a lot of installation manuals either ;)
The community for this game is rather a egocentric one. where are all the compilations and other helpful tools? this getting one file here and one there is rather tiresome

Xaltar's packs go in Neverwinter Nights... > override folder

You're right some mods don't have a lot of info - generally they do have a read me when you unpack the zip
