Ok, it's a dumb system with having no option to "join" the question/problem thread...
So I have to post another thread almost identical to already existing.
Now that the steam is out...
I have a netbook PC with an external monitor attached, in a dual-screen config.
I can't make NWN run on the external monitor, though (and so far, it is the *ONLY* program I can't make to).
Here's what happens:
* There's only a set of 800x600, 1024x600, 800x600 and 1024x600 (yep, doubled) resolutions which can be selected from a config program or in game settings. 1024x600 is what I have on the main screen.
* Manually editing resolutions in both nwn.ini and nwconfig.ini doesn't help any.
* I can't switch to windowed mode, even with:
FullScreen=0
Disable Intro Movies=1
AllowWindowedMode=1
UseLargeFont=1
Any way to solve it?
* Additionally: when I hit alt-enter, alt-tab or switch to any app on the other screen by the mouse, NWN minimizes.
SOLVED
It depends a LOT on what screen is set as primary.
Switching external monitor to be primary has solved the issue.
Note that it is a tricky thing on its own -- I couldn't achieve that from display properties ("Use as primary device" checkbox for English-speakers), as it was failing, so had to do that through the "Intel(R) Graphics Media Accelerator Driver for Mobile" tray icon (Graphics settings" -> "Output to" -> "Monitor + Notebook" option).
