Ok, when I start up Neverwinter Nights, I get two error messages right after running it. Both say:
"The procedure entry point _AIL_set_sample_pan@8 could not be located in the dynamic link library mss32.dll."

This implies to me at least that the issue is maybe some API change or something for whatever mss32.dll provides exactly, and I'm guessing it's directly sound related given the entry point it says it's looking for (though I'm no expert by any means and could be entirely wrong.) I'm wondering if it just needs an older mss32.dll file in the NWN directory or something?

The error seems to be harmless enough, but it's annoying and it's probably losing some sound capabilities or something along the way. Overall no big deal, but it seems silly to just ignore it if perhaps I could just track down an older file or something and fix it once and for all as simply as that. The only problem is, I have no clue what exactly I'd need to look for to actually do that...

Odd, I guess you could back up that mss32.dll and try replacing it with a different one, chances are you have a bunch on your PC already and can download it from the internet, also updating DirectX might help as it may have the latest version of it.

Also I'm not having that problem so you could try the mss32.dll from my game folder if you like.

Here's a link to it.
