About every couple of times I try to save or quicksave, my game freezes. Then after a forced restart, if I click, without loading, the savegame spot in the list of saves, my game will freeze. I tried the fix to install c++ according to gog's help, but it still freezes

Does anyone have a fix, or experiences the same issue? Thanks. Btw I'm running on w7-64.

Found Fix just in case some1 else experiences this problem: Apparently a custom portrait that is not edited correctly can cause this problem. I started a new toon without using custom portraits, and I have not had any freezes when saving yet...crossing my fingers though.
