Around the time Game bar got installed without my knowledge, NWN diamond is awfully unplayable, lags and it's choppy. Please help.

You probably did but it's worth checking - did you reboot after changing the reg file?

How about toggling on or off the "Use game mode for this game" option in the game bar's configuration screen while running NWN? It won't disable the bar, but it could correct the problem.

It didn't help (duh).

I still want to play, but it lags so intensely I can't close it without task manager. Every my click or mouse move takes so much time, I'm not sure what I'm clicking.

did you try right click on game link -> properties > compatibility -> disable full screen optimization?
