When I play single player the game is fine and dandy. No problems. But as soon as I log into Multiplayer everything becomes laggy, even the background at setup. Any idea what's wrong?

Way back in the day (on an older, worse computer) it did that to me. I think it's just from all the communication that's going on. Is it still laggy once you join a multiplayer game? Or is it back to normal?

Yeah it's still laggy once I join the game. It only got worse as it went along. But my roommate and I were trying to play the game together and we were running out of the same cable box. I decided to switch to wireless and now it works like a charm. Don't know why but hey, not complaining.
