So, I picked up NWN2 while it was on sale. I'm attempting to set the resolution to 1080p, but every time I do the game gives me a black screen with a flickering cursor and crashes. I'm using an AMD RX 580 card with the latest drivers and a Ryzen 1500x based system.

had the same issue. open your nwn2.ini under "documents/neverwinter nights 2" and change it in there.

I think it's working? It still says it's using 1024x768 in the interface, and the aspect ratio is still all stretched out. However it looks cleaner. Perhaps it just doesn't have wide screen capability?

It works for me on 1920x1080, I changed height and width in the ini.

Try pressing Alt and Enter to enter windowed mode, change the settings, and then Alt and Enter to go back to fullscreen.
