I haven`t played NWN2 in, oh maybe 10 years, now seems a good time to go back.

So I`m asking, how do I install mods? I know it`s not as easy as just dropping a mod in. Can anyone direct me to the basics and utilities required to make it all go smoothly?

Not starting the game until I find out. :)

Check this guide: https://neverwintervault.org/article/reference/deployment-and-installation-custom-content-nwn2. It might seem a little complicated in the beginning, but you'll get along with it. :)

That info is exactly what I was looking for. I knew there was stuff about hacks and overrides I needed to understand. Thankyou.

Er, hate to be a pain, but whenever I change the res to 1920 X 1080 or any other res than the really low res NWN2 starts at it keeps crashing or freezing the game on a balck screen.

Any idea how to fix?

On Windows 10.

p.s Ok I figured it out. Just in case anyone else wonders- tick off Fullscreen 1st then it will change, then put Fullscreen back on.

Or just Alt+Enter to go to windowed mode in case you cant move the mouse for some reason.

I know it's been four years already but in case anyone has this problem with resolution as I do on WIndows 11, a solution is indeed to switch to windowed mode, then change the resolution and change to fullscreen again.
