I was pretty sure that it was stated that they planned 1.2 for release this week ? Any news or just another forgotten statement ?
Probably will hear about it on conference .
Thursday, June 2nd and no patch 1.2 or even updates. Seems the schedule CD Projeckt runs by is "the last day of the week we indicate at best, or when we say...we are not oblidged to give any updates after the first patch".

I've tried the game a little and have run into a number of issues:

1. Game appears to go into 'walk' mode rather then standard "running" for no reason.
2. Sometimes for reason unknown you cannot swing your sword. Patter seems to be after a fight with more than 3 opponents
3. Getting a number of "blue screen of death" crashes. Have run software Memory testers. Seems to be okay. Have never had any Blue Screen of Death incidents with ANY other game run on this system include Dragon Age 1, and The Witcher 1.

Strong suggestions to improve the game:
1. I now understand reason reviews are not happy with lack of tutorials. You really kindda need tutorials more indepth than they give inthe game. I reviewed the Manual before playing but it wasn't quite enough I felt. Figured it out..but many may not have the patience.

2. The popup messages need to stay a LOT longer. Often they disappear before I can read them. Suggest a user changable fadeout parameter in seconds, allowing single digit decimals (numeric type 'double')

Mode of the game is autoset to "Low". Occassional lags in the game but nothing serious that I feel are worth complaining about.

System Specs: Intel Core 2 Duo 3.2 ghz CPU, 4 GB DDR3 RAM , Nvidia 9800 GT video card with 1 GB DDR3 memory, Asus Xonar DX Audio card, Western Digital 1 TB Black SATA drive, Memory manufacturer: Crucial DDR3 CT2566BA1339.M8FR (x2), Motherboard Asus P5E3 Pro, Power Supply Seasonic 600W X-Series Modular.Monitor: 40 inch Samsung LCD TV Model Number: LN-R4090
I'm still fucking waiting to play this game, if I pirated it I could've known about these problems and not bothered spending 85 euro on the CE

What is your problem? What happens when you start the game?

Well among the "big" news they are supposed to give in roughly two hours one is supposed to concerns the continued support for Witcher 2 so I guess they will probably announce the next patch by then.

I think your video card is the biggest problem. I know it meets min specs but short of adding a quad core processor the card would be the cheapest fix.

I had two 9800s in SLI mode with a AMD 9750 quad core cpu, 6 gigs DDR3 and 1000w PS, still the game wasn't playable. I put a Nvidia 440 card in and I run on high specs very smoothly, can run on ultra high but it slows down in several places.

I should say that I have Win7 64bit and could run the game without the patch as well as I can with it.

I had come to the same conclusion for video lags. Which is why I didn't feel it was worth complaining about. Going to get a Nvidia 450 or 550 chipset video card. All cards with DDR5 seem to require either an active cooling solution or a VERY large copper/aluminum heatsink (*sigh*) I always get nervous with active cooling solutions for video cards because fans are often the first thing to die (case, video card, CPU in that order).....
