Hi,

I've just bought The Witcher 2 for Mac. After adjusting settings to get fair amount of fps, I get awfully lot of artifacts that make game engine-rendered cutscenes and gamplay very unpleasant (look at screenshots).

I'm playing on mid-2013 MacBook Air with 1.3 i5 processor, 4GB ram and HD5000 graphic card.

My current settings are lowest possible, I've only set the RAM budget to High since OS X allocates 1 GB of RAM for graphic's card (according to Apple).

Any ideas how to fix it? Any recommended settings?

From the System Requirements:

"NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 512MB (on 1440x900, medium), ATI Radeon HD 5770 1GB (on 1440x900, low) with 512 MB of Video Memory"

An Intel HD 5000 is not comparable to those. This artifacting is, unfortunately, what the game does on a deeply inadequate graphics card.

Well, It's too bad that The Witcher 2 is not optimized as good as other games and hasn't been released for PlayStation 3/4. Guess I'll have to wait for the Witcher 3 to play on my console then.
