Well in chapter 3 I have come across a troll guarding a chest. I have killed the troll but I need to distinguish the runes in the right order to open it. I can examine something, which I presume is a riddle but I can't make sense of it.
What's the right order?
You can decipher the riddle with the 4 volumes of a book that sells at the makeshift-market.

sorry yes it was a golem
lol I didn't even have the quest. No wonder I was confused. I found the room, before I picked up the quest.
Sorry major confusion there. So I have picked up the manuscript and luckily I already had all the ingredients needed. So it is quest complete and I have had the sword crafted.
Is there any thing of worth in the other chests? There was one guarded by a golem.

Ahh the manuscripts, that would have been a far faster way to solve this puzzle as I literally labeled each rune 1-4 and hit every combination in each room until I got everything.
Ahhh yes, the runes! The #@$%#$ing runes. I spent hours trying to figure it out on my own. I bought the books and was till confused. I mean a BEAR WALKING ON DEW?! None of these look like a bear walking on dew! But wait, SOME of them kind of do look like whats described in the books. Hmmmmm, let me read those combinations again.....
There are 4 runes as you know.
Each rune represents one of these-animal,sky,art and time. You get that from reading the rune books.Reading the rune combination text found in each chamber you have to figure out the order.Finishing the quest, you get the best silver sword in the game if you have a sword spec.
I drew 3 signs, don't remember the 4th one but it's the sign representing the animal.

The animal sign looks more or less like this :p
