While the Prologue and Chapter 1 ran quite smoothly, I've been encountering a number of bugs in Chapter 2 related to inventory items. For starters, my Steel Sword disappeared from my inventory even though Geralt still appeared to have it equipped. When I tried to equip a new sword to see if I'd get the one I was using back, I lost it entirely. But that's not the bug that's really bothering me right now since it was a stock robust cutlass and thought I'd just craft a better one.

I bought a diagram for a Robust Kaedwini Sword and every time I go to craft it (no matter which craftsman I use), I end up with a Robust Short Sword in my inventory. Has anyone else had a similar problem? Found a work around? I don't want to proceed through the chapter as these two problems have left me only able to use the random loot weapons I've found around the military camp, which all do considerably less damage than either the sword I had at the end of the Chapter 1 or the one I'm trying to make.
