Hey all,
I've read the forums, checked the fixes, done all the goodies... So time to post.
Sys Specs:
Win 7 Pro 64
i5-2500k (stock at the moment for testing purposes)
GTX 460 SLi (that's 2 baby)
8 GB DDR3
Before Enchanced Edition, I had no problem running the game all day every day. I just slapped on auto-detect and turned off a few features, and it runs at a smooth 40-60 FPS for about 15 minutes or so. After loading into a new area, or just in the middle of gameplay, my FPS will drop to an unplayable 5 FPS or so. This won't fix until I restart TW2. After restart, this will continue. This makes me think memory leak, but I have no idea if anyone else is experiencing this.
There is ONE thing that may be doing this. My OS is on a SSD, and TW2 is installed on my other HD. This is connected through SATA, and shouldn't have any issues running the game (since it's internal). I don't feel like installing 22 gigs onto my SSD, but I may try it if there are no solutions.
-My CPU/GPUs are running at a cool below 40 C during play, so it isn't a temp problem
-Reinstalled twice now to see if that's an issue
Any ideas?
