I'm playing the game on Hard, not Insane, first off.

Anyway, it appears the game has deleted every single Quick Save I had except the last one, randomly.

Even better - it happened after I'd been playing for a few hours in the area outside Henselt's camp in Chapter Two where you're looking for Triss and I bribed the Old Tower key from the Mistress - and there's a bug where the key doesn't work. I went to reload my save before to see if it would work that time - and bam - none of my other quick saves. Not one.

So, not only have ALL my other quick saves disappeared, I have to replay that whole section because of an unrelated bug, since the last saved game I have is an autosave where I enter the freaking area.

I even looked in the My Documents save folder and they're all gone, nothing in the trash bin.

What the hell is going on? This is incredibly frustrating.

You can only have one quicksave at a time. Every time you hit f5, it overwrites that save.

EDIT: I heard of something similar this morning. Don't use the key on the door. Go inside the tent and to the right and there should be a trapdoor.

I am flummoxed. Going back to test that...

Yep. Well I am a royal idiot. I have absolutely no idea how I did not notice that till now.

Love it. How could you play so long without realizing there's just the one quicksave slot?

Gotta get used to using a few manual saves from here on in, eh?...
