I recently installed Witcher 2 but it is simply unplayable due to low fps (12-20 fps according to fraps). I have disabled everything and I am running it on low spec. My computer specs are:

Any help or tips to improve fps would be appreciated. I really want to play this game, I don't care if it has to look like minecraft.

You could try this optimized Direct3D 9 version, which helped other users with stuttering problems:

Copy both included files in the game's "\bin" folder, next to the witcher2.exe file.

you don't have dedicated gpu do you? You can't run the game on intel's graphic unit.
I just finished TW2 on med to high settings 1600x900 on my laptop but i have 750M there. my cpu is slightly better than yours (i54200m) but it is not an issue. Lack of dedicated gpu is.
