So I bought and downloaded the Witcher 2.
No problems there.

Installed it to my secondary HD, no problems installing.

When I try and run either the registration, or the game itself, my mouse flashes with the loading circle and then stops. Nothing opens.

Ive tried changing my resolution, disabling UAC, running as admin, running in compatibility mode with multiple OS's. Nothing seems to work.

I contacted support like a week ago and they finally replied, but it didnt solve anything and they just closed my ticket.

After a few attempts at running the game and re-installing, I finally got errors when trying to run.

Theyre as follows;
Unable to load cooked 'globals\controls.csv'. Make sure resource was gathered and check log for details.
Unable to load cooked 'globals\game_inputs_order.csv'. Make sure resource was gathered and check log for details.
Unable to load cooked 'globals\attribute_types.csv'. Make sure resource was gathered and check log for details.
Unable to load cooked 'globals\sound_materials.csv'. Make sure resource was gathered and check log for details.
Unable to load cooked 'globals\music.csv'. Make sure resource was gathered and check log for details.
Unable to load cooked 'globals\gui\fonts\fonts.csv'. Make sure resource was gathered and check log for details.

With each one opening a different set of error descriptions underneath.

I re-installed yet again, still no fix.
The attached picture is just one of the error boxes I get.
After I hit ok, it just spams me with another one for each of the above errors.

DA fuk.

Where did you buy the game from? Never, ever seen this before, but a quick google shows that it's happened to the Steam version.

The Steam version is garbage and problems like this happen constantly. If you're using it, you should use your key to redeem the game here. If you have the game here to begin with, however, then I have no idea what's wrong. Never seen anything like this before, honestly. I suppose it's possible that some files didn't download correctly; it might be best to redownload, because it would make sense that this happens consistently after a reinstall if the download itself is the problem.
Its the version from here, got it on sale the other day for like 7.50.

I did re-download.

I cant afford to waste another 16 gigs of bandwidth for this game after I already used 32.

edit - I dont know if it makes a difference but my windows is installed to my 64 gig SSD which is my C Drive.
Game installed on F: which is one of my slave drives.

Dont think it should matter, but if it does, I cant even clear up 23 gigs for the game on my SSD

It doesn`t matter where the game is installed to. I also have mine installed to another drive. When the game was installing did the .NET installer finish? If not then you might need .NET 4.0 http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=17718
I have the latest version of .NET as I use it for programming some times.

Didnt fix the issue.

guy fixed the exe file. it had a problem with newnetworkclient.dll

another option is to try and disable network.
