says installed game is invalid or incomplete ive registered and everything im using the australian patch and im in nz and it doesnt worth but ive tried NA as well and it has same problem

I've tried a couple different patches myself, and none of them worked. Dunno what's wrong. I might as well re-install the game at this point.

Then again, I really have no problems running the game, so no real need for the patch in the first place.

Can I ask what version of the game you guys bought? Was it a retail version, or did you buy it from an online retailer?

If you have any DLC in your "CookedPC" folder, remove it then try the patch.

If that doesn't work, you'll have to wait for a fix or the next patch, as this is happening to a lot of people, myself included.

Northrop, have you tried the patch DL from the Atari website?

Varoksa, Have you added any mods to your game? I have heard that some of them can interfere with the patch installation.

I know this may sound stupid, but have you restart your computer? If you already did than try to upgrade your system they release a new pack today i think

As a last resort, uninstall and reinstall the game then the patch.

Not really. The game works fine without the patch. No stuttering, no slow downs or anything stupid like that. I guess I was lucky with the release, but unlucky with the patch :D Oh well.. can't have everything :D

okay so i tried to reinstall and now it wont reinstall because it says i cant modifiy the movies folder in directory even though im admin...... so now i cant play the game , for a game with no drm ive never had this many issues with one that actually did have drm

I have the Collectors edition in NZ, I tried the AU patch as well with no luck.

The patch that did install correctly was the International version. Unfortunately it sounds like you've already uninstalled the game. I wish you luck getting it sorted.

well i got everything working but now the game crashes when i get to act 2 siding with roach..... god dammit
