A thread for launcher related errors/bugs:

When running the launcher the status window in the bottom left corner says "Error writing file. Retrying in 10 seconds." This flashes every few seconds but never succeeds.

If anyone knows a solution to this id love to be able to patch my game.

I just finished installing patch 1.1 and I'm having the same issue. I could play fine prior to the patch (I installed through Steam), but now I can't play at all.
