Help would be greatly appreciated!

My Witcher 1 is currenty unistalled, but my save files are on User\Documents\The Witcher\saves\. But Witcher 2 doesn`t recognise any save file at all! Does anyone know how to solve this?

I had a similar issue but fortunately I still had Witcher 1 installed. I just played the game to the end credits one more time from my last save (right at the very end of the game, thank god - wouldn't want to do the final section all over again!) then tried loading Witcher 2 and it worked.

No idea why it would need to do that....

Is your Witcher1 is the same language as your Witcher2?
Witcher1 and Witcher2 user data is in the same folder I suppose (Documents...sorry I just ask because I have XP, the name is little different there).
