mojoman69: Yes it is a bug or they wouldn't need to patch it up to work.
Actually, it's a feature that was not yet implemented at the time of release.

You act as though official patches never contain new features. Take a look at the NWN and NWN2 patch contents for an example of completely new features being added via patch.

Thanks for bringing the tooltip mod to my attention. The slow scrolling was maddening!

eRe4s3r: For my personal ego

Potion Duration Extension (60m potion durations, except cat potion)
http://www.gog.com/en/forum/the_witcher_2/mod_potion_duration_extension

Oil Duration Extension (makes most oils last 30m, the OP ones 15m)
http://www.gog.com/en/forum/the_witcher_2/mod_oil_duration_extension

Don't think its cheat mods, as at least potions should last into the boss battles even when you don't skip cutscenes (now that* is a cheat)

Sadly without official forums and the horrible search, and fact that gog forums are not indexed by google it makes mods difficult to find.
Maybe we can get DarkOne to host the mods in his ***nexus.com. He has a Dragon Age nexus, so why not a Wicthernexus ?

Although, until a construction set/game eitor is released, I don't think we'll see a large quantity of mods.

Aaden: Yes, go to your C:\Users\"Username"\Documents\Witcher 2\gamesaves folder and delete whatever files you want to be rid of.

Vitor121796: WOAH! I had 2.0GB of save files! Over 400! That's insane!
Compressing them works well, compressed 2500 MB of saves to 175 MB with WinRAR.
Great thread! Bump.

Yep. Maybe you remeber, DarkOne has actually suggested to collaborate with the Witcher modding community in the official forum. There weren't extremely many mods for Witcher (but very good ones), maybe there will be more for TW2 - the neccessity is definitely there. Then we should take up his offer. I think the Nexus sites are so extremely well known and popular, hosting Witcher mods there would actually be very good promotion for the game, so CDPR should be so lucky. ;)

Thanks to the OP for the mod list!

I'd contribute a little mod myself, but I don't use these hoster services and have no webspace of my own atm. So I'll try and load it onto the official forum, once they're back and provide the link then.
Bump for great justice. Thanks to all who worked on these mods.....

You can upload it to filesmelt.com
Press on Simple (left side) upload file, spread link ;) No registrations or hassles.

And no, i am not related to filesmelt, i just like to use it ;)

I wanted to avoid to put up something where you may have a broken link after a short while. But it might do for now, thanks for the suggestion. :)
Be back in a couple hours, then I'll have a closer look.

IGN has a Witcher Vault here, not sure how popular it is amongst the modding community or people who wants to mod games from the Witcher series, but I used to find the best mods offered by the community in their Neverwinter Vaults for NWN.

slophlong: Are there any mods that fix the issue with alchemy? Having to replace the ingredients for every single thing I make is a pain in the ass, it shouldn't reset every time you make something.
Am I the only person having this issue or something? I find it hard to believe that no one else is complaining about it.

I've gone through the entire game twice without worrying about picking out the ingredients myself over the auto-populated ingredient list.

Then again, I loot everything, and pick every herb I run across. I really don't get why, or how, people get so low on a specific ingredient that they feel they need to pick what ingredient their potions/bombs use.

That said, I'm all for choice, so I totally support the game remembering what ingredients you choose, if that helps out players like you.

Also, these kind of posts are totally in the wrong thread and just populate a thread about available mods with spam. Yea, yea, I just contributed as well.
i have the same alchemy issue, for some reason it always seems to default to my most rare ingredients including quest ones everytime i want to make a potion and i have to manually fix it and it resets back as soon as i make a potion it is very very annoying, luckily i don't make too many potions or it would have driven me mad,

also how is it that you feel this guys post are in the wrong thread and are cluttering it up with spam??? he's asking about a mod in a mod thread??

making a whole new thread would clutter the board more.

I'm more concerned about it using certain ingredients that also have a crafting use as I may need them for something else a bit later in the game. When it tries to use something I have 3 of over a common flower I have 60 of its a bit annoying.
