Hello, I have defetaed Skalen Birdon and he told me gives me the sword of warrior princess Xentia. But I do not have it in my inventory. Is it a bug? Shall I even bother to play with him?

If you're on Iorveth's side just go finish the Baltimore's Nightmare quest, as you'll get the strongest Steel sword available in that chapter.

If he was on the Iorveth side, he would be armwrestling Skalen, not playing dice with him.

But Xentia is just a joke sword, so no matter.

So it is. But it doesn't stop me from giving good advice.

And you can play dice poker with Skalen on Iorveth's side as well. He offers the same rewards, though he fails to deliver the Dun Banner Cloak (and later in the chapter, I received Zyvik's hat instead. The magic of game bugs!)
